One of the major reasons why children become overweight is they eat too much candy and snack food which are packed full of sugar. When sugar levels build up it creates heat in the upper part of our body and leaves the lower part cold. Because the child has more awareness of the upper parts of the body they will feel hot and want to drink in order to cool down – however, the cold drink they are consuming sinks down into the already cold regions of their body and so they begin to experience discomfort and bloating in their stomach. As a result, poor digestion and bad circulation starts from an early age. Sometimes plumpness is not such a cute sign, it could in fact indicate a child has a weak kidney condition.
